This is how I D&D
Centaurs roam open plains and make their home near forests and woodland so they can take advantage of the hunting available there.
The primary weapon used by centaurs while hunting, and while protecting themselves, is their great bow.
This bow is similar to the longbow (or war bow), but is larger and more powerful.

This one is mentioned in the random tables on page 13, but the creature was cut due to space. I have included it here as I was asked about it.
Ahools are a bat-primate mix, having large crimson, bat-like wings. With a wingspan of approximately 22-ft, it appears much bigger than it is.
Back in Issue 10 of d12 Monthly, I wrote an article called Team Up where I listed some disparate monster team-ups that would make tough and memorable encounters for your PCs.
I want to continue this online as I present a regular section on the site called Team Ups! This article features my first team up: owlbear and yellow musk creeper.

Ogres have been mistaken for giants for a millennia or more. Just because they are giant in size, does not make them giants in nature.

As you may be aware, my zine uses the current 1.0a OGL from Wizards of the Coast.
I will be, starting in the next issue (Issue 20), no longer using the OGL.
Week 1 of Dungeon23 has launched!
This will cover areas 1-9 on level 1.
