I have way more ideas than I have time for.
Due to this, I start a fair few smaller projects that take quite a while to come together (I think this is why I like producing a monthly zine – it keeps my mind on one thing for a while).
This is the first of a regular series of blog posts that will explain what I am working on, and my thoughts on various aspects of the TTRPG hobby.
Over on Twitter and Mastodon I tend to post recommendations of indie-created resources for Dungeons & Dragons that I love and use, or that seem like they may be useful to my followers.
I thought it would be a good idea to collect them all in a repository of sorts. An ever-expanding place to keep them all.
There are so many free table-top roleplaying games (TTRPGs) on DriveThruRPG.
So many, in fact, I thought I would list a few so you can check them out.
This will save you dollars and also help out the creator in spreading the word about their game. This Free Roleplaying Games listing is a way to bring table-top roleplaying to everyone, no matter how wealthy (or not) they are.
Before I start this review I want you to know I am a big fan of Five Torches Deep and all past supplements (I even ran a FTD Fan Page on Facebook at one stage, and have created a complete proficiency list). The base game was a breath of fresh air when I needed one (being over 5e) and the past supplements have been really good additions to the base game.
Five Torches Deep: Origins is a mixed bag.
